Am 26.8.2016 präsentierte Wolfgang Schmale mit seinem Vortrag „La visualisation de l’humanité: Les allégories peintes al’fresco des „quatre continents du monde“ au XVIIIe siècle“ das Forschungsprojekt im Rahmen der ISECS Tagung „Eighteenth-Century Culture and the Non-European World“. Gastgeber war die Università degli Studie in Florenz (zum Programm).
